Our policies and routines

• The foundation is completely driven by funding's and partnerships. We don’t receive any appropriation or gifts from the authorities

• We aim to support other organisations fighting against diabetes to raise funds through our activities

• The foundation is under supervision of the Swedish authority; Länsstyrelsen, to ensure that we work according to the law for foundations

• The board of the foundation is the executive organ and the General Secretary, Helena Kolvik runs all the practical details such as administration, project management, communication and financial control 

• The board has appointed Sahar Kupersmidt as chairperson of the Foundation

• The foundation shall conduct business operations in respect of activities to increase the understanding of, and counteract stigma regarding, diabetes through relevant public events or other activities

• The foundation is allowed to conduct business operation according to its statues and that the business operations are in line with the foundation’s objectives.
